The sun sets on the palace of the Sun King, Versailles, France. Touring the buildings and wandering through the gardens, I stayed until late in the day, and had to push myself to make it back to the entrance before they closed it. By the time I reached the western side of the grand main palace, there were but a few hearty souls still milling around. The peaceful, meditative feeling then was quite a change from the morning's tourist crush.
