Les Invalides, Paris, France. These golden cupids decorate the stairs to the rotunda where Napoleon's tomb is located. It was my first full day in Paris... alone in the City of Light, I felt the excitement of each new discovery. With the freedom of a three day museum pass, I could go wherever I wanted, and easily found my way around the city. That first day I chose to walk everywhere, so as not to miss anything, and it seemed everywhere I looked, I was rewarded by spectacular sights.
