Golden Souvenirs, Eiffel Tower Gift Shop, Paris, France. Touristy knickknacks are often dismissed as tacky, tasteless kitsch, and so they probably are. It is because of this attitude that I take such perverse joy in photographing them. Capturing the eye-pleasing beauty of repeating forms resulting from mass-production, I seek to elevate these humble objects, and cause them to be seen and appreciated in a new way.
