Final resting place, Toledo, Spain. The Monastery San Juan de los Reyes, built the year "Columbus sailed the ocean blue" (1492) is one of many fine attractions in this World Heritage town. This arch caps a doorway leading to the interior courtyard. I can not tell if the figure is a statue or an actual mummy, and my Latin is not good enough to translate the scroll (any helpful scholars out there, drop me a line...)
