Somewhere in Ireland. I know this idyllic spot is somewhere in the west of Ireland, but I can't tell you much more than that. You see, I was on a Shamrocker backpacker bus tour, and we stopped here only briefly -- alas, I made no note of the exact location. (The first person who recognizes and can correctly identify this spot, please send me information, and I'll send you a print of this photo, gratis!)

It was here that our wicked guide, Dave, told us all to take off our shoes and dip our bare feet in the icy water, for good luck and the assurance that we would return again to this fair emerald isle -- burrrrrr! Is this truly a time-worn tradition, or just Dave's ingenious way of pulling our rapidly-numbing legs?
