Another new morning, London, England. It's always a slightly strange feeling, waking up somewhere new. The morning I took this photo, I woke several floors up in an old London flat. It belongs to a friend of a friend that I'd only met the night before. He had gallantly given up his bed for me (and a comfortable bed it was) still I woke with that disoriented, disconcerting, disconnected, "Where am I?" feeling. After months on the road, this feeling became less panicky, but never quite went away. There is, in the end, no place like home.
