While they serve all the meaty old favorites, even the George's vegetarian fare has a traditional flair about it -- my choice was a mix of fresh broccoli, cauliflower and carrots tossed in a homey cheese sauce atop a buttery pastry crust. Served with a steaming side of boiled new potatoes, pickled cabbage, cooked carrots and parsnips, I enjoyed every memorable mouthful. |
