Searching for the perfect waffle, Brussels, Belgium. It just isn't a visit to Belgium without trying one of their famous Belgian Waffles -- but which to choose? There seemed to be a waffle stand every ten paces around the Grand Place, in Brussels' historic heart.

As I passed by one shop, I heard a cheery American English voice announce, "We're back!" Intrigued, I asked the twenty-something fellow, with friend in tow, if he meant what I thought he'd meant.

"Yes, we were here earlier for waffles, and we couldn't resist coming back for more today. They're the best in Belgium!"
