Beguiling bunnies in Europe's first shopping mall, Brussels, Belgium. The Galerie de la Reine, Europe's first covered shopping gallery, has been a Brussels landmark for over a century and a half.

It was here in 1857 that legendary Neuhaus Chocolatiers began. Belgium's oldest chocolate maker, Neuhaus is also one of its most esteemed and expensive. Although their success has bred numerous offspring (over 2000 Neuhaus stores exist worldwide), this is the original, still in the same storefront where it all started.

When I visited, the window display was a fantasy of edible delights, featuring larger-than-life-size bunny-shaped confections.
