Glencoe, Scotland. This area typifies the stark beauty of the Scottish Highlands, carved by huge ice-age glaciers into a breathtaking masterpiece.

While I was visiting, Glencoe was being used as a backdrop for the third Harry Potter film, but this was nothing new. Other well-known movies made here include "Highlander," "Monty Python’s Holy Grail," and "Rob Roy."
