ENGLAND<< YESTERDAY'S PICTUREALL PICTURES

British Museum, London, England. The Great Court of the British Museum is the the largest covered public square in Europe, and a beguiling combination of classical and modern architectural styles.

The museum itself is a seemingly endless treasure-trove of cultural relics from a great range of ages and places.

One of the many wonderful things about this museum is that they allow photography (and flash photography, at that) in nearly all their galleries. And can you believe it, admission is always free!

They have a very nice web site, too. There are more than 50 different "guided tours" available on the site, a great way to familiarize yourself with different aspects of their extensive collection before you go and see it for yourself.

Pictures of the Day are available for purchase as archival quality frameable art prints or stock photography. Send an email to liz@whereisliz.com for information regarding price and availability
