SCOTLAND<< YESTERDAY'S PICTUREALL PICTURES

Bridge over untroubled waters, Reelig Glen Wood, Scotland. This picturesque 19th century stone bridge and grotto near Inverness is certainly worth a pause on any Highland tour.

As an added bonus, nearby you can see the tallest tree so far recorded in the UK (and indeed Europe), a Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) standing 62m (203ft) and well over 100 years old.

Pictures of the Day are available for purchase as archival quality frameable art prints or stock photography. Send an email to liz@whereisliz.com for information regarding price and availability
