Somewhere on the Romantic Road, Germany. Sad to say, but the towns become a bit of a blur when you only get five or ten minutes to explore before it's "Back on the bus!"

That's why I can't identify exactly which picturesque medieval German town this is, and couldn't really do any justice to describing it, even if I did know its name.

But still, it is a nice, typical market-day scene, with cobblestone streets and peaked roof buildings with window boxes brimming with blooms.

The main thing I learned by taking the Romantic Road bus tour through Germany's heartland was this: No more big bus tours for me! There are far better ways to travel.
