Failed assignation at the Alcazar, Cordoba, Spain. I was sitting on a palm-shaded bench resting my feet. As I took this photo, a handsome Spanish man, late forties/early fifties sat next to me, and began a conversation.

He said he had lived in San Francisco, and named some surrounding places to convince me. He said he was a professional flamenco musician and dancer, and he wished to show me around--even offered to take me to Seville tomorrow.

When I told him, "I have a boyfriend" (my standard line for men who get pushy) he responded with a grin, "I will make you forget your boyfriend."
