Boulevards of Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona is famous for its elegant wide boulevards, and a notable one is this, the Passeig (Paseo) de Colom. This part of the promenade, spiffed up in the 1990s for the Olympics, is known as the Passeig del Moll de la Fusta, and features restaurants, shops and harbor views.

In the distance you can just make out the 164-foot-high monument to Columbus that marks the Plaça Portal de la Pau, and the base of the Ramblas, the most famous (and for some, infamous) street in Barcelona.
